Promoting education through different types of scholarships for the meritorious but economically constrained students has been our strategy. The scholarship programmes of Amar Ujala Foundation have been lauded by none less than the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Vice President Shri Venkaiya Naidu and the Speaker Mrs. Sumitra Mahajan apart from the then Union HRD Minister Mrs. Smriti Irani. Atul Maheshwari Chhatravritti (AMC) is for those meritorious students who are studying in Class 9-12 in various state education boards and have annual family income less than 1.5 lakh rupees. The selected students get a onetime scholarship worth Rs.30,000/- for class 9-10 and Rs.50,000/- each for class 11-12. The Dorilal Agrawal Scholarship is for specially abled meritorious students and unlike AMC where many rounds of rigorous tests takes place, this scholarship is provided on the basis of merit, without taking any written test. Adopting schools and financial assistance to schools to fulfill their infrastructural and pedagogical requirements is also a part of our strategy to strengthen the existing governmental educational system.
