In a display of social responsibility and community service, the Amar Ujala Foundation organized a significant blood donation camp at the Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) in Meerut, where 115 students stepped forward to donate blood. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Badri Vishal Singh, Circle Head of PNB Bank, alongside MIET Campus Director Professor Dr. S K Singh and Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. Honey Tomar.

Highlighting the critical need for donations, Professor Dr. S K Singh remarked, “Blood donation is the biggest donation of all because it saves many lives. Each unit of blood donated today can save up to four lives, a testament to the impactful contributions made by our students today.”

The camp not only served as a vital healthcare initiative but also as a platform for educating young minds about the importance of altruism and community support. All participants were honored with certificates of appreciation and were provided with refreshments to help them recuperate.

This initiative is part of the Amar Ujala Foundation’s ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare access and emergency preparedness through community involvement. The foundation expressed its gratitude towards the students, faculty, and local dignitaries who made the event a success, reinforcing their commitment to fostering a culture of giving back to the community.
