Amar Ujala Foundation has been extending its support to the survivors of acid attacks across India, since past 3 years now. From providing medical helps and financial aids to such survivors, to providing rehabilitations and upgrading their skills through technical courses, or getting professional advice from the administrative departments or legal advisors for the survivors, Amar Ujala Foundation has extended its support in the best way possible to more than 25 acid survivors and still counting. This support has been in form of livelihood, legal helps, fast pacing of their ongoing investigations, filing of fresh cases under section 326A, getting compensations from government, professional trainings, medical treatments as well as monitory help for travel and medicines. More than 150 acid survivors are now in direct touch with the foundation, and provide time to time information and support. In a recent move, with Amar Ujala Foundations help and initiation, all Acid Survivors of Uttar Pradesh having their case registered under section 326A, and accredited by Uttar Pradesh Laxmi Bai Mahila Samman Kosh, are being given free treatment at SGPGI, Lucknow under HOD Plastic and Burns Dr. Rajiv Agarwal.
Not only this, Amar Ujala has been continuously supporting high end surgeries of eyes at Sankar Netralaya Chennai too. Uptill now, 3 patients have visited Sankar Netralaya, out of which one survivor named Deepmala, who had lost her eyes in the attack, has now regained her vision.

Amar Ujala Foundation recently sponsored Ms. Toolika Rani, Squadron Leader (retired) Indian Air Force, for her recent expeditions of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak of African Continent. She is the first woman from UP to have scaled Mt. Everest. Apart from this she is a wonderful motivational speaker.
Ms. Toolika Rani has also been a part of series motivational workshops conducted by Amar Ujala Foundation, which started in February and March 2016 and is still continuing. Ms. Toolika is an excellent orator who relates the hardships she faced to climb high peaks such as Everest, with the hardships that every normal human being faces in day to day life. She encourages young minds to persue their passion and fight for it to make it a success.
Uptill now, she has successfully taken more than 4 workshops and have interacted with more than 10,000 students so far.

Haryana Wresting Association and Amar Ujala Foundation organized a 3 day state level wrestling competition in Sonipat in the month of November. A number of wrestlers from across the state participated in this activity in the different categories of the competition. Olympic winner Sushil Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt also graced the occasion with their presence and awarded the winners of the competition.

Empowerment of Women at Patel Nagar, Delhi
Amar Ujala Foundation has been continuously monitoring and supporting a welfare project for deprived women of the Patel Nagar area in New Delhi. We train these women in sewing by providing them sewing machines, and establishing their linkages to the market, so that they can easily sell their products at best prices. Ornate Collection Private Ltd. (An Export-Import Company) is buyer of these products since past one year. Not only this, these women are linked to local market as well, so that they can understand the market demand and can educate and upgrade themselves to become independent entrepreneurs. We have provided them with 5 sewing machines as of now. Amar Ujala Foundation aims to uplift these women from poverty by providing means of empowerment through skill development.
